Welcome to Pragathi, the Indian Graduate Student Association at Drexel University.
Our objectives are to increase the awareness of Indians on campus and in the Philadelphia community, to preserve the rich cultural heritage of India, to ensure a homely atmosphere for Indian students living away from home and to unite Indians and people of other races by celebrating and learning from diversity.
Giving a feel of "a Home away from Home !!"

Tel: 610-853-2420 Last week I visited the Place, They have a very good selection of Spices, Letils, Beans, Pickles. - Administrato : We got our ICICI insurance waived just now. Do not worry. ICICI is the most recognized here.
- kanupriyasin : Regarding the Medical Insurance,is ICICI Lombard's Student Plan accepted at the University?It includes Health/Travel/Safety/Losses/Accident Insurance.But like all other insurance companies,it does not include coverage for pre-exisiting illness,mental health and maternity.ICICI suggests this plan coz ONLY Medical Insurance wont suffice the University clause of getting $50,000 benefit per medical ailment.PLZ plz help me with this confusion.
- anup : @deekshaseth: Indian movies are usually screened at select movie halls in New Jersey; NJ isn't that far...However, UA Movies (Regal Group) at 69th Street, Upper Darby - 10mins by subway from campus plays Indian movies sometimes -- Kaminey is being screened there right now! Dhan Te Nan :)

The apt is located @ 33rd Powelton Ave and is 5 mins away Drexel library, Bossone(biomed research building),Buckly field (for volleyball/football fanatics), Drexel Gym/athletic center and 30th street station. Drexel bus stops right in fromt of the building every 5 mins. The room rent is as low as $260 a month + utilities.
