About Us

Pragathi - The Indian Student Association at Drexel University was established in 1990 and has been going strong ever since. The objectives of Pragathi are to increase the awareness of Indians on campus and in the community, to preserve the rich cultural heritage of India, to ensure a homely atmosphere for Indian students living away from home and to unite Indians and people of other races by celebrating and learning from diversity.

To fulfill our objectives we arrange for pick ups and for providing temporary accommodation to new incoming students. Pragathi is also instrumental to bringing members of the Indian community on campus close by organizing special events for Diwali, Holi etc.

Finally we, at Pragathi, are committed to help our fellow students feel at home by making their study at Drexel an enjoyable and memorable experience.
