The much-awaited freshers’ party kicked off at 9 PM in Café Spice on October 9^th. The dress code was hip n black for the men, and dazzling red for the ladies. Many of the freshers stuck to the code zealously, and the dance floor was a sea of black and red.

Freshers were allowed in at no cost, while guests had to pay a small amount to attend. Everyone was given coupons worth $10 for  drinks. Prizes were given out for the best dressed guy (Anush) and girl (Anusha Shetty), and the best dancer on the floor (Littly).

 

The evening took off with some good music, which set the pace for the rest of the night. As the night wore on, the enthusiasm and energy of the dancers on the floor did not diminish one bit! Seniors and freshers alike danced until the wee hours of the morning, and a thoroughly exhausted yet exhilarated bunch of people left Café Spice after a night of fun and frolic.

What party is complete without food and drink? The party boasted an appetizing menu of Naan, Paneer Tikka, Chicken Chilli and Ragda Pattice. Everyone dug in, and the food complemented the mood of the dancers perfectly. The event was a huge hit, and all in attendance seemed to have enjoyed themselves a great deal, setting the mood for a good weekend.
