A wheelchair getaway at a 7-Eleven has police looking for an unusual robbery suspect. Authorities said Friday that a man in a wheelchair entered a Dallas convenience store this week, rolled straight toward the cash register and began hitting it with a baseball bat.
Cries for help inside a Trenton, N.J., home turned out to be for the birds. Neighbors called police Wednesday morning after hearing a woman's persistent cry of "Help me! Help me!" coming from a house. Officers arrived and when no one answered the door, they kicked it in to make a rescue.

The Philadelphia region could begin to feel the effects of tropical storm Hanna late tonight before the storm peaks Saturday, dropping up to 6 inches of rain and bringing wind gusts up to 60 miles an hour through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
